On Sunday, 12 April, the 35th edition of the NN Marathon Rotterdam will start. It is one of the largest sports events in the Netherlands. As sponsor, NN will be clearly visible with banners, advertisements, route cards and gadgets.
On 12 April, the Nationale-Nederlanden Douwe Egberts Café, located near Rotterdam Central Station, will be transformed into ‘NN Runners Cafe’. Runners can go there to change and join the warming up with a DJ, or get a massage. Supporters can welcome the runners there and congratulate them after they have finished.
NN is also proud to launch the online running platform “Your Miles Matter” - www.yourmilesmatter.nl. With this programme runners in the Netherlands choose for a charity or personal cause, decide on the amount of kilometres they are going to run, and invite friends and family to support them financially. All participants will be rewarded with running gear and gadgets. During the NN Marathon Rotterdam, both on the course and on social media, there will be attention given to #yourmilesmatter.
