With summer now underway and many destinations open for tourism once more, travel is on its way back to pre-pandemic levels. However, amidst ongoing disruption at airports and consumers reducing their flying, there has never been a better time to consider alternative forms of transportation.
We offer on-demand rental insurance for peer-to-peer campervan sharing via our partner Indie Campers, Europe's largest motorhome rental platform. Both owners and renters are protected against third-party liability, financial loss and roadside assistance during the rental period. This provides peace of mind for both the owner and renter. In an effort to reduce their climate impact, Indie Campers also offers a ‘reforesting’ carbon offsetting scheme.
In recent months we have expanded our coverage to France and Germany. Together with Spain, we now cover the three biggest camper destinations in Europe, as well as the Netherlands and Belgium. We will soon expand further across Europe, into Italy and Austria.

Embedded insurance, where services are distributed via third-party platforms, is widely considered part of the future of insurance distribution. At NN, we explore such models as part of our innovation portfolio. Through partnerships such as Indie Campers, we can offer our insurance products directly to customers at a convenient point in their purchasing process. For example, our e-bike product is sold through 27 partners across Europe. Via the distributors’ platforms and retail shops, we offer customers protection against theft, damage and roadside breakdown for their new bicycle.
